Sales and Marketing Lead - Latin America

YouNoodle is passionate about driving change through the power of startups, and we are expanding our presence in Latin America. Founded by a Dane and an Argentinian, San Francisco-based YouNoodle has developed a startup sourcing platform used by hundreds of programs, challenges, and competitions around the world.

We are looking for someone passionate about the Latin American startup scene, someone well-connected across borders, and someone willing to shake hands with both founders, executives, and governments. YouNoodle powers Lat Am government programs such as Startup-Chile, Capital Semilla and Reto Zapopan, corporate challenges with AB Inbev, Microsoft Imagine Labs, Digital Bank Latam, and other organizations such as InterAmerican Development Bank (IDB), Fundación Chile, Grupo Guayacan and Sustainable Brands Rio. We have run challenges to solve cervical cancer, humanize Amazon's Alexa engine, and design NASA's Mars Night Rover.

But we have lots of work to do. The Latin America startup scene is growing rapidly, with a few strong hubs in large cities but in general we are seeing that founders everywhere want to brave local barriers and build startups to scale. Meanwhile, many large corporations in the region are eager to connect with startups to understand the ecosystem, sell products and also access the innovation and talent inherent in startups. We want to close the gap between Latin America’s corporations and startups, and we need you to help us get there.

You will be part of a energetic international team that is working to source new clients, close sales and make clients happy - working together as a team towards targets. We are looking for someone to bring creative sales and marketing approaches, creating marketing content, driving marketing strategies ultimately leading to increased inbound leads and displaying the tenacity to upsell renewals and close new clients across Latin America. You will be reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing globally in San Francisco.

We currently have one Program Manager and an intern located in Santiago, Chile, and ideally you are also located there, but we would be flexible for the right candidate in Latin America. Our headquarters are located in San Francisco, California, and you would likely be working at our coworking space in Santiago. Our company culture is very open, inclusive, hard working, competitive, fun and happy! We are very much a start-up environment, however we are not your average startup in that our small team boasts incredible geographic and cultural diversity, not to mention a balanced team in terms of gender. Past company retreats have been to a resort in Cabo, Mexico, a castle in Maine, and a campsite on the California coast. Come and be part of shaping the future of the startup revolution and work with an amazing group of people along the way.

Please send a cover letter telling us why you are interested in and qualified for this position, along with your resume/CV to careers@younoodle.com with the subject line: Application for Sales and Marketing Lead. Please note that only applications with a cover letter will be considered.

You are the ideal candidate if you:

  • Love the sales process, every bit of it
  • Are analytical, data-driven, and eat process for breakfast
  • Feel energized by a fast-paced environment where you are expected to handle multiple priorities.
  • Love startups and have an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Speak and write English and Spanish with native or fluent proficiency
  • Put your team before yourself
  • Have 2-4 years of experience in a sales, business development or marketing role
  • Are a self-motivating powerhouse

Sales and Marketing Lead - Europe

YouNoodle is passionate about driving change through the power of startups, and we are expanding our presence in Europe. Founded by a Dane and an Argentinian, San Francisco-based YouNoodle has developed a startup sourcing platform used by hundreds of programs, challenges, and competitions around the world.

We are looking for someone passionate about the European startup scene, someone well-connected across borders, and someone willing to shake hands with both founders, executives, and governments. YouNoodle powers government programs such as French Tech Ticket, Start-Up Denmark, and TechCity UK, corporate challenges with Amazon, Cisco, and Genentech, and other organizations such as Hello Tomorrow, Next Step Challenge, and Creative Business Cup. We have run challenges to solve cervical cancer, humanize Amazon's Alexa engine, and design NASA's Mars Night Rover.

But we have lots of work to do. Europe is going through a phase of increased cross-border startup activity, where founders everywhere want to brave local barriers and build startups to scale. However, Europe's larger companies struggle with startup engagement, as Europe's startups are more likely to be acquired by American companies than European ones, according to recent EC/CrunchBase/MindTheBridge data. We want to close the gap between Europe's corporations and startups, and we need you to help us get there.

You will be part of a energetic international team that is working to source new clients, close sales and make clients happy - working together as a team towards targets. We are looking for someone to bring creative sales and marketing approaches, creating marketing content, driving marketing strategies ultimately leading to increased inbound leads and displaying the tenacity to upsell renewals and close new clients across Europe. You will be reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing globally in SF.

We currently have one Program Manager located in Paris, France, and ideally you are also located there, but we would be flexible for the right candidate in Europe.
